Four ingredients. Nothing to hide.

A cold-pressed scalp oil made in British Columbia. Jojoba, grapeseed, rosemary, vitamin E. That is the entire list.

Scroll

Most hair oils hide behind a list of twenty ingredients. We printed all four of ours on the front of the bottle.

Cold-pressed, small batch, mixed in British Columbia. No silicones, no parabens, no filler oils, no fragrance added beyond the rosemary itself.

Why four

Fewer inputs. Fewer variables. Nothing to explain away.

Every extra ingredient in a formula is another thing that can irritate a scalp, go rancid, or exist only to make a label look impressive. So we cut until there was nothing left to cut.

What remains does real work. Jojoba and grapeseed carry the weight. Rosemary wakes the scalp up. Vitamin E keeps the blend fresh in the bottle. Take any one away and the oil is worse.

The formula

What is actually in the bottle.

Listed by share of the blend, in the same order they appear on the label. Nothing is rounded to look neater than it is.

Jojoba Oil

60%

Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil

The nourisher. A lightweight liquid wax rather than a true oil, which is why it conditions without sitting heavy on the scalp.

Its wax-ester structure is close to the skin's own sebum, so it absorbs rather than coats.

Grapeseed Oil

38%

Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil

The strengthener. Light, non-greasy and rich in linoleic acid, for softness and resilience without weight.

Studied for its effect on the mechanical strength and moisture retention of damaged hair.

Rosemary Oil

0.8%

Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil · CT cineole

The awakener. A steam-distilled aromatic that brings the scalp to life and carries the scent of the whole blend.

Used at a low, deliberate concentration. More is not better here.

Vitamin E

1.2%

Tocopherol (mixed)

The keeper. An oil-soluble antioxidant that protects the other three from oxidising in the bottle.

This is why the glass is amber and not clear. Light is the enemy of a cold-pressed blend.

The ritual

Three drops. Two minutes. Two or three times a week.

It is not complicated, and it is not meant to be. The point is that you actually do it.

Step one

Part and place

Part dry or towel-dried hair. Place three drops directly onto the scalp, not the lengths.

Step two

Massage two minutes

Work it in with your fingertips, not your nails. Two full minutes. This part matters more than the amount you use.

Step three

Leave it or wash it

Leave in overnight, or wash out after thirty minutes. Both work. Use two to three times a week.

What changes

How a scalp feels before and after a few weeks of the ritual.

Drag the handle. This describes how the scalp and hair look and feel with regular use. It is not a medical claim and it is not a promise about hair growth.

Before After
Tight, dry, a bit neglectedScalp feels tight after washing. Lengths look dull and snap easily when brushed. Product builds up because nothing is absorbing.
Calm, conditioned, softer to the touchScalp feels comfortable rather than tight. Hair looks healthier and feels stronger and softer, with less of the visible breakage that comes from dryness.
